Based on the feedback and interest received on the AWS Webinar, we are planning to host an online FREE boot-camp and help you prepare for the Cloud Practitioner Certification. This boot-camp will be a two weekend (i.e., 4 days and 4 hours/day) program. Our goal here is to help you reach a milestone by successfully writing this certification.
In the first two sessions, you will learn the basics, get your hands-on AWS, build, and set up a server and deploy an application. The next two sessions will be focused on the Certification, mock questions and preparation for the exam.
Pre-Reqs for the boot-camp:
- Attendees should have a basic understanding of IT services
- Attendees should be somewhat familiar with basic infrastructure components, like servers, database, network, etc.
- Should have an account on https://aws.amazon.com/ (MUST). Please create it asap as it takes about 24 hours for activation.
- You MUST be ready to take the AWS Certification Exam after the boot-camp. The link to register and take the exam is

With this boot-camp, you will be able to -
- Define what the AWS Cloud is and the basic global infrastructure;
- Describe basic AWS Cloud architectural principles;
- Describe the AWS Cloud value proposition;
- Describe key services on the AWS platform and their common use cases
- Describe basic security and compliance aspects of the AWS platform and the shared security model;
- Define the billing, account management, and pricing models;
- Identify sources of documentation or technical assistance (for example, white papers or support tickets); and
- Describe basic/core characteristics of deploying and operating in the AWS Cloud.
